MSC = Malaysia Smelting Corporation is going to do dual lisiting in Singapore Exchange. It is a great news. "Malaysia Boleh."

Its 2Q results showed big improvement even though still in loss of 28.20 Sen per share. We believe 3Q will be a good one.

Now RM4.14 Lowest RM2.12 Highest RM9.50

HTPADU is a business IT solution company. It has good profits track record. Main IT contracts from our government.

It is giving dividend of 12 Sen. At the price now $1.27, yield is about 10%. Great.
Techincally, it shows double bottom until it breaks $1.33 with volume, we can see new target of $1.90.

Euro seems troubling continuously. Greece, Portugal, Spain, next & next. When we see trouble unstoppable, protect capital. Either sell equity to keep cash temporarily or switch them to high yield stocks. We recommended the latter because inflation would be higher in near future. Cash value is diminishing. Government Linked Companies (GLC)

GLCs are managed by Political appointed men who could or couldn't be "qualified" to be a fit and proper person. Some are professionals, some are from non-related field, some are "lucky" to be there. No matter how, it is beyond our control.

SIME recent huge loss due to mis-managed, or forced to takeover "sure loss" business? One thing is for sure: SIME, being a king in GLCs, it has crashed investors confidence on GLCs. A Cash Cow is down, what would happen to the junks?!

Time for GLCs to be run by professionals.

KLCI 1,300 highest ? Is it danger?!

Today KLCI hit 1300 points. Many ask about highest point in Malaysia??
Let look at historical data: 1997 highest was 1,314 points. 2008 highest was 1,330 points. If you remember, our index has been changed from 100 stocks to 30 stocks. It means there is some adjustment need to be made. 2008 highest was 1330 but based on today adjustement it should be 1,530 instead. Therefore, KLCI highest is 1,530 points. We are not at the highest point at this moment. We believe wolrd recovery would lead us to 1,500 points this year.

Dubai wanted to be the world financial centre in Arab countries was a excellent idea. It is a small country with limited supply of crude oil.

Ideas are good if implemented properly. Highly gear is always danger to an individual, a corperation, even a country. High leverage leads to out of control. Have you heard of "throw money into the sea?" That's the palm-tree island all about.

The crisis was predicted, and expected from many big corperations. European countries are the loser in this crisis. USA may not invest much in middle east. Southeast Asia is also not involved much. Recently PM mentioned that in order to achieve Wawasan 2020, it takes 6% GDP growth every years until 2020. What it means? It means 6% GDP growth every years will simply make our economy so good just behind China. Imagine Malaysians average income will be double by then. Consumers purchasing power will be great. Inflation is a definite thing to follow. Scenario will be :

Stock market will be so good to the KLCI level we ever seen... 3,000 points!
Economy is so good, everybody is able to own houses. Properties price will shoot up especially landed properties. In additional, Malaysia is earth quake proof in this regions.
Once purchasing power is powerful, big corporations will make huge profits. Foreign big corp would wanna get some market shares in our local market. International trade will be tremendous.

As long as whatever neccessary steps to achieve the Wawasan 2020, the above scenario will be true. Time to invest in quality stocks in Malaysia.
